These are the questions most often asked about Sanctus (and Trout). If you would like to contact us directly, email at SanctusIsGodsCat@gmail.com.
Sanctus is as much God’s Cat, as you are God’s Son or Daughter. HE created us, and cats. HE calls us by name. HE calls this cat, Sanctus, and has asked him to spend some time here on Earth.
While Sanctus does consider himself a Catholic Cat, he is not associated with the Catholic Church or any institution. He does follow Pope Leo on a few social accounts, when Trout lets him use the iPad.
Sanctus resembles Earthly domesticated cats such as Bengals, and wild undomesticated cats like the sand cats you might see in a wildlife sanctuary.
Sanctus has very sensitive, unique eyes, and without his glasses he freaks people out.
Sanctus wears a Miraculous Medal, which is a widely recognized Catholic sacramental, designed by Mary in an 1830 apparition to Saint Catherine Labouré in Paris, promising great graces to those who wear it with faith.
Trout is a Terrier mix. He enjoys social media, the housewives franchises, and Gregorian Chants (something Sanctus suggested).
His best friend is his sometimes chew toy, Patrick. It’s important to Trout that you know he and Earl Gray were together before they met Nacho, and that they both took his last name when they got married.
